Sara Easterly is an award-winning author of books and essays. Her memoir, Searching for Mom, won a gold medal in the Illumination Book Awards, was a winner in the National Indie Excellence Awards, and garnered a silver medal in the Readers’ Favorite Book Awards. Her essays and articles have been published by Dear Adoption, Feminine Collective, Her View From Home, Godspace, Neufeld Institute, Psychology Today, Red Letter Christians, and the Society of Children’s Book Writers & Illustrators (SCBWI), to name a few. Previously Sara led one of the largest chapters of the SCBWI and was recognized as SCBWI Member of the Year.
In addition to her writing pursuits, Sara is a publicist and event planner; the founder of Book Bonding, where she reviews heart-led children’s books; and a trained facilitator with the Neufeld Institute. She is mom to two tenacious daughters and daughter of two amazing moms—both her adoptive mom and her birth mother.
