Author: Margaret Lea (Margalea) Warner

Margaret Lea Warner goes by Margalea (pronounced Marg-uh-lee) among friends and in her writing. She has been a writer since she learned her ABCs. She sat at the family dining room table writing “Once upon a time” pressing so hard that she carved the words into it. Refinishing the table was her first experience with revision. She received a BA in French and Journalism from Bethany College in Bethany, West Virginia, in 1981. She worked as a secretary for over 35 years. She still wrote and was published, but not widely. Now in retirement, this stage of her life is re-inspired. Over the past three years she has had poems, devotionals and stories published. She is a triumphant tortoise who will not give up.
