Sydney Ann Johnson is a poet, writer, and author with a strong commitment to community engagement and advocacy. She has contributed articles to diverse cultural organizations, exploring themes of faith, race, and intersectionality.

Her poem “Retail” appeared in Chicken Soup for the Soul: I’m Speaking Now: Black Women Share Their Truth. Her debut children’s book, God, The Great I AM, is set to be released in February 2026 by Our Daily Bread Miniseries .Ms. Johnson seeks to empower children and future generations to recognize their immense value in God’s sight, embracing their true identity in Jesus Christ.
