Rachel Landrum Crumble

Rachel Landrum Crumble is a life-long poet, aspiring novelist, and reluctant blogger. She taught kindergarten through college and is happily retired and focusing on her writing life. She writes from a boots-on-the -ground faith perspective for a general audience about depression and grief, race and racism, being human in this beautiful, baffling world. Sister Sorrow (Finishing Line Press 2022) was her first book of poetry. In Praise of Detours (Main Street Rag November 2025) is her second poetry collection. She has an MFA from Vermont College. For her current work on a novel, she was accepted to The GoodLit Writers' Retreat. For most of their lives, she and her husband of 44 years have been in mercy and cross-cultural ministry.
