Paola Barrera worked in the business world for fifteen years. After a seasoned career in market research and communications, she pivoted to invest her time and skill in words. A writer and speaker, Paola shares how the Bible informs everyday life. She's written articles for Fathom Magazine, Servants of Grace, and Women Encouraged, and led workshops, and spoken at various events in Canada and the US. To spark a thoughtful reflection about life, faith, and theology is her aim when writing or speaking.
Born in Venezuela, she spent her formative years between Europe and the United States. She returned to her birth country in her late 20s, where she met her husband. A Third Culture Kid for the first half of her life, she became an immigrant in her 40s. Canadian through the gift of immigration, Paola calls Montreal home, where she lives with her husband Gustavo.
