Laura LaSpalluto
Laura is a writer, photographer, teacher, and sometime preacher. She has lots of questions, a few answers, and the need to share them with an unsuspecting world.
Her writing explores what faith in Jesus looks like when it collides with “real life” — from the theology of lasagna to the spiritual discipline of knitting.
Speaking of knitting, Laura puts her knitting (and praying) skills to work, leading a community Prayer Shawl Ministry that has given hundreds of consecrated shawls to people in need of a reminder that they are loved.
In addition to her blog In Ordinary Time (www.inordinarytime.com) Laura has written for the Mudroom and Altarwork,. She is married and lives in Connecticut with her husband Bill and two delightfully crazy cats.
