An award winning professional interior designer and teacher (BA/Design, University of Illinois) an avid world traveler (US, Europe, Caribbean, Hawaii, New Zealand and Australia), 100% Italian, and a voracious reader (26 years hosting a monthly book club) Terri Kraus has an eye for detail, a passion for perfection, a love of research, and a cleverly observant writing style—all of which are made obvious in her latest fiction work, The Project Restoration Series. She is the author/coauthor (with her CBA/ECPA award-winning, best-selling husband Jim) of thirteen novels, 7 of which are historical fiction. Terri loves to engage her readers in real-life issues, authentic characters and stories of hope and redemption. She served as President of Redbud Writers Guild for 6-1/2 years, and recently completed the abridgement to Victor Hugo’s Les Miserables for the second illustrated book in Tyndale House Publisher’s “Engaging Visual Journey” series. An empty-nester, she lives in beautiful Bluffton, South Carolina, with her very good husband, writer Jim, a chill and loving miniature schnauzer, Sadie, and a feisty yet affectionate Bijon Frise, Lily. They enjoy the Hilton Head Island coast and all the Low Country culture has to offer—especially the fresh seafood.
