Katherine’s background is in education, both as an advocate for minority students as well as an instructor. As a first-generation graduate and daughter of immigrants, she achieved a Master’s-level education focused on leadership. Welcoming her firstborn in 2020, she left her full-time career to focus on mothering and has seen God’s faithfulness come alive in her life. Originally from Miami, FL and of Nicaraguan heritage, Katherine resides in Colorado Springs, CO where she met her husband and mothers her two beautifully biracial boys. She is passionate about leadership, theology, and walking alongside her husband who is a pastor. She enjoys salsa music and teaching her sons Spanish. Currently, she is pursuing an MDiv at Denver Seminary and blogs with humor and encouragement.
