Charlotte Donlon
Charlotte is a freelance writer and copywriter and is training to become a spiritual director. She holds an MFA in creative writing from Seattle Pacific University where she studied with Paula Huston and Lauren Winner. Her work has appeared in The Washington Post, Catapult, Christ and Pop Culture, Ploughshares, The Millions, Mockingbird, and elsewhere. She is writing her first book with Fortress Press on loneliness and faith. Making room for others and their stories is also a priority for Charlotte. She's grateful to have a lot of opportunities to do so through her writing and through her roles as wife, mom, friend, and neighbor. She lives in Homewood, Alabama which borders the city of Birmingham. She is married to Tim, and they have a daughter, Riley, and a son, Brady. Charlotte and her family are members of Cathedral Church of the Advent—an Episcopal church in Birmingham. You can follow Charlotte on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram @charlottedonlon
